Hey guys, The Upper Midwest Gathering is coming up fast. May 18th is almost here. Lets here your most memorable experience from the past UMGs. It can be good or bad. Here is mine. Back in 2001, we lost a 99 VR4 at the UMG. Dan H was following another 3/S on some twisties outside of town. He was going a little too fast for the turn and ended up flipping his VR4. Dan was o.k. minus a couple of cuts, but his VR4 was destroyed. A couple weeks after the UMG someone spotted this pic on a car auction site: http://mn3s.org/dan-crash.jpgSo keep it safe out there. later, Curt

Depressing first memory Curt, way to kick things off!
I remember. . . . .
THE WHITE NINJA!
And the Bill family, and that guy with the messed up paint that changed color depending on what the current ambient light was outside.

at somewhere between midnight and 2 am, joe, greg, matt, and ?jon? pressing there nekkid rears against the sliding glass door to my hotel room, and beating on it for a good fifteen minutes, as me and lisa were... talking. about 5 minutes into it she declares - "they're your friends."
good times. good times.

That was Jhammer you are thinking of. Ver fer is the scruffy guy that looks like a serial killer. And tell me about it, I had to haul his damn car back to his house on my car trailer. blazing red dragon wrote: i remember when we had to push i wanna say......ver fer if thats how its spelt... lol well anyways we had to push his car a good mile down the road due to jumped timing on the cruise. ah memories nothing like getting a workout and pushing a beautiful car down the road. at least it was really light!

I'd take having it be there and hauling it to it not being there any day.
