Now that we are in the new year, and spring is just around the corner (or at least a guy can hope) I have found myself looking at the garage, and starting to plan this years upgrades to the "WWD-TT" (wrong wheel drive twin turbo) One of the things that I think will be very helpful (on top of the LSD) is launch control. What is available for our cars?

I don't understand the question. Are you asking for some kind of traction control device which will help better your launching or some ideas for improving traction?
I can help you with the ladder: Better tires, fully adjustable suspention (ie teins or k-sports), and a dual stage boost controler which you can start off at low boost, and switch to high once you get traction.

AH, well sudder boxes are something different. These are more for turbo cars so you can build boost before the launch and/or not take your foot off the gas pedal to shift gears.
I don't think this was what you had in mind.

I don't think a studder box would be a good idea for you at this point unless you can get the tires to hook at the line.

OK, then maybe I am thinking of the wrong thing, but it seems to me that there is a way to leave your foot flat on the gas, and the clutch in at the line, and have the engine hold at a set RPM. Then, all you have to do is dump the clutch and you are off and running. I didn't think this would build any boost becasue you wouldn't have any load on the motor. Am I just total off, or just retarded?

It will limit the rpms by cutting the spark to some of the cylinders, usually every other one while the clutch pedal is in. The unburnt fuel from the those cylinders then goes out the exhaust port into the exhaust mainfold. It is then ignited by the hot exhaust charge from the other cylinders as it flows into the turbine housing and expands as it continues it combustion. This causes the boost to increase.

So this is a feature of an ignition system (an MSD, or some other aftermarket unit) and not just a chip or black box that you would add in like a piggy back ECU?
