Hey, you guys know of a very reputable source to rebuild the old tranny of my 92 Auto. I want someone I can deliver it too that is reasonably priced and can take their time with it. I have a JDM tranny in the car already but I figred I could let someone open up my old one at their leisure and take 6 to 12 months rebuilding it the cheapest possible and have it as a backup for when the JDM goes out.
Also, question, will a 2nd gen auto fit into or be adapted to fit into a 1st gen car?
Thanks,
Bret

AFAIK, the only differences between the 91/92 and the 93+ trannies are the differential and the trans temp sensor.
If you want to use a 2G auto tranny in your 91, you need the axles from the 2G car and swap the temp sensor out of your old one.
