Well, I ordered officially the front end parts TODAY from Kuettner motors. They will be in early next week, and I have 15 days to pick them up. I'll probably be heading down later next week with a truck to pick up all the parts...if anyone is in the area and wants to check them out, stop by and I'll let you know when I'll be there.
Also, a big thanks to Kuettner motors, a total savings of over $500.00 from buying from other suppliers.

Cool beans. Glad the W3SI discount is paying off... Let me know when you're heading down here to pick up the parts.

So were the parts even cheaper than buying them at Conicelli?

They were as cheap as anywhere I found. I also wanted to do business with kuettner since they give a deal to the w3si crew.

Well, I am going to head down and pick up the stuff tomorrow probably (Wednesday)... The headlamps are $512.48 EACH.... Not Cheap, but I really like the way they look, whatcha gonna do? I didn't get any foglights. I also didn't get the small horizontal pieces that go in the stock IC slots. I am going with a FMIC, so there's no need for those pieces, they're probably have to be removed anyway. Thanks, I'll prob. give Jesse a call tonight, I'll be heading down tomorrow afternoon to pick up the parts if I can get over there in time. Have a good one guys.

Wow, I'm super slow with this project. I have my plenum off and I'm kind of polishing it, though I hit a rut today. I have all the necessary tools, and I've been sanding a bunch lately, but I'm struggling to get the actual polishing compound to do much on the plenum. I sanded from 80 to 240 grit paper (dremel), and it's very smooth. Now, I'm just getting a dirtly cloud with the tripoli polishing compound....hmm....
Well, onto the 99 conversion:
I have everything tore down, and the FMIC stuff here. I believe I'll head to the body shop next week to get the last of the cutting and welding done, I'll probably post pics at that point. Then, I'll mount the FMIC, finally, I'll have to cut the 99 bumper and get everything squared up. Does anyone have a stock 2G hood laying around? I'd love a Viper hood, but it looks like they won't be being made for a while....which sucks! I could get some pics in the next couple days, but it's not too exciting right now, I just have crap laid all over, and no plenum on the car. Thanks for the interest though Jesse...I'm PMing you right now.
Matt

Don't forget to check out Kuettner Motors in Waukesha, they'll give you a big discount.... VR-4Maniac saved quite a few pennies buying from them. You getting the Viper hood at Midnight Haze? Sure looks sweet.

I'd definitely suggest calling Kuettner then and asking for a quote with the W3SI discount. They may even discount you more with a bigger purchase. Check with VR-4Maniac and see what prices he got. You won't have to pay shipping either, just pick it up. I'm guessing it will be cheaper for you.
