Just thought someone locally might know, greg was very helpful with my last issue. I just installed an evo 8 bov, and my boost preasure seems to read the same with my mbc, but on the vacuum side I would previously read at the highest 20. Now with the new bov my vacuum at idle sometimes goes to 22, and when driving at a low rpm goes down to 25. Is this vacuum to low, and why would a different bov cause it to be lower?

That about right (little high, but nothing that would bother me). It's higher because this BOV isn't open at idel like your stocker was.

If you flick the gauge with your finger, does the needle jump around? If so, then it's a bum gauge. I've had a mechanical autometer gauge do that before.

Checked the gauge today-the needle did move one or two psi when I tapped on it. I was using a stewart warner gauge, maybe its time to upgrage to something better. I will preasure test this weekend.

I pressure tested this afternoon. Didn't leak until 8 psi then there was a around the front turbo, but I couldn't pinpoint it, even used the soapy water method. Tried tighting down hoses going in and out of the turbo but that didn't seem to help either. I may need some help finding this one. Next pressure test party count me in.
