Okay folks, how do I do this? I have a Palm powered Sony Clie, so that should work, right? Figure I need cable and software. Found some sites but unsure -- is there an easy/ best way? Please advise. Thanks, SJ

Doesn't need to be anything fancy. 200mhz is pleanty. All you'd need then is a cable and either MMCD or TMO (both are free) software. I might know a guy who could upload the TMO program if he's provided with a place to put it.

Shiver's the hotness. He gave me a lot of help when greg and I were thinking through and implementing the hybrid ecu in obd 2 shindig.

TMO and MMCD = free
Shivers is the best IMHO but costs $140 or something (I honestly don't remember), but it comes with a cable.

SJ Shiver's shizzle: http://automotive.miragecorp.com/Just click the "OBDI Datalogging Software" link. FYI, from the FAQ for that product: "Some Sony Clie's with OS 3.5 or greater work. S360 and SJ20 have been tested to work. Clie NX70V, NX60, NZ90, and TG50 have bad serial ports and are not compatible. Once again as with the Handspring devices, you WILL NEED a special serial hotsync cable. We currently do not sell these at this time, but they can be found on e-bay for around $7."
