Just got home from work, and what do I see on my porch, a nice package from USPS. Inside of this nice white box is an E-manage, support tool CD and two harnesses!! So, anyone want to play with this stuff with me?

Did you get the wire harness expander for the ECU plug. that way you can wire the emanage from outside the car...
I wasn't smart enough to order this thing for my own car, and I'm sorry. When I worked on somebody else's harness they had it, and it went ten times easier.

damn, wish I would have caught you sooner. The boomslang harness seems to be the best way to go. All prewired emanage to adapter harness. Seems like all you have to do is plug it in. Unless you go stage 3 wiring, then you will have to buy the injector adapter for $50.
Have you been checking the emanage thread on 3si? it's like 30 pages long. Although it's a lot of reading, there is some good info in there.
I may be of some help getting things set up, but I have limited time. If you wanna come out my way to mess with it, you could come out this weekend while Joe and I are reassembling our transmissions.
So what are your plans with it?

First thing, I want to get it in the car and see how it works and how to tune it. I am doing a twin turbo coversion, so that will become my new "Super Brain" as the NA ECU will have no idea what to do.

Are you going to do speed density? Are you going to use the emanage to log or do you have a logger?

I was planning on using the e-manage to log, but it doesnt look like it can log O2, and that is a problem. So, if that really is the case, I need to get a logger.

it can log voltages... I suppose you could splice the line, and run that. but you'd still be missing knock, and the ability to check other parameters. and clear engine lights. get a logger.

Jhammer don't you have a '99? I don't think there is a logger available for those.
