I might have found out why the hell my car likes to bomb emissions. I've had a problem where plug #6 is always just black as hell, I decided to do a compression test on all cylinders and they all read 150-155 warm.
I grabbed a flashlight and looked down the intake runner to #6 and noticed that it has a small pool of oil around the valves (not huge, but no others have this). This also happens to be where the machine shop replaced 2 valves. Im guessing they didn't do a great job replacing the seals which would explain my black plug, and im sure a fouled plug doesn't help emissions at all.
My next question is this, all other plugs are brownish white, which from what I remember, points to it running lean. Now since im a TT conversion I only run 1 O2 that feeds both inputs on the ECU. Could the unburnt/partially burnt fuel from #6 be throwing everything off? If so this would explain some of the wacky readings the Emissions sheet is giving me.
Luckily I have a spare set of heads, im going to get the rear done and HOPE (Pray

) that its the root of all my problems.
