I am looking for a new clutch for my 92 stealth na. I am just wondering what clutch brands that people have had good or bad experiences with. There are some manufacturers of clutches that i know make good clutches, but I don't feel like spending too much on a clutch right now. Also, good places to get good prices these clutches? Thanks

The best deal you can get on an NA clutch is from places like NAPA or Checker that work just fine.
...otherwise, if you're not comfortable with that, then I'd go with a new stock clutch from Mitsu. We have 2 dealerships in Milwaukee, 1 in Madison, and 1 in Brookdale, MN that offer discounts.

I was actually hoping for info on performance clutches. I get big discounts at any parts store or dealer through my job, but I am wondering about the higher end clutches. Thanks

Thanks With all due respect, what mods do you plan on doing to your car that require a "performance clutch"? What I'm getting at is, why spend $350-400 on a clutch for a car that doesn't make much more power than stock? Especially, when a clutch can be had for $150 and still work just as well? Hey, it's your $$ and your car. All I'm doing is just trying to put things in a difference perspective.

Well, I have crank, rods, rings, pistons, ect... on the way for an all-out motor rebuild. It will also include twin turbos of course. My clutch is starting to slip a little right now and I just figured that if I am going to buy one, might as well get one that will handle the rebuild. The part that sucks is that after doing my sohc to dohc and auto to man conv., I am still not happy enough. I want to get the underhood stuff all done and have a sleeper for a little bit and then rebuild the entire body with some custom work.
