i am just starting to research these cars but im wondering if you can take a non awd 3kgt or stealth and make it awd. i have a vr4 that got wrecked i got it for pretty cheap and is pretty much totaled, the motor is good it just has really bad body damage, so i was wondering if i could take out the motor, trans and rear end and do an all wheel drive conversion.

do yourself a favor and buy an awd. It will be cheaper and less time consuming. I looked into this for my SL a couple years ago. It would have cost about 4grand. Plus I still wouldn't have had twinturbo. Thats like 3grand. So just buy a new car. For 5500 you can buy that other guys car in the for sale section.
