I got an oil pressure sensor guage from a friend. It was on my friends civic. I was wondering what wire do I hook the gausge to for the pressure signal. Do I need a different sensor or will the stock sensor work?

What brand? If it's a greddy or Apexi, I know their sensors just screw right into the same spot where the stock sensor goes (you will have to pull the stock one meaning the stock gauge won't work).

I don't think that you can just tap the wires from the stock sending unit, as it will be voltage specific to the amount of oil pressure you get.
The greddy gauge came with it's own sensor. It was calibrated to a specific wire length. when I just changed that my gauge got screwy.
I'm gonna stand in the: You need a gauge and sending unit *combo.* you replace the sending unit and run that line to the new gauge. :corner.
my 2 cents.
