I am planning to go to Great Lakes Dragaway tomorrow Tues Oct 4 for a little test and tune session on my car. I have a few bugs to iron out like the pig rich mapping, high boost miss problems, and made a minor modification to my NOS logic circuitry to decrease the size of any nitrous backfires=intake manifold explosion magnitudes. Just finished it up yesterday. Track opens at 6pm, I would like to be there when they open to git 'er duuuun. Nothing amazing, just some tuning but sometimes people mentioned they might like to go as a little group. Jack T. "I get knocked down...but I get up again! You're never gonna keep me down!"

I might try and make it out in the TT for the heck of it. I work until 5:00 and it's a good 1.5 hour drive out there. The car still knocks above 5 grand, but it'll be worth going just to spectate.

Hey Jack:
I'm stuck between Boy Scouts, Cheerleading practice and PTO tonight. I'm going to try and pull in some favors so I can head out, but odds are not in my favor.
Knock 'em dead for us Doc... "for those ten seconds or less, I'm free."
Best,
SJ

Hey guys:
I tried like heck, but in the end my son's scoutmaster won -- I didn't pick Zack up until almost 10p from a scout master's conference after the troop meeting. Insane -- he is dead this morning. We'll have a little conversation about what's important relative to an 11 year old boy later...
Anyway, I hope it went grand, it was a beautiful night and it's all I could think about as I made my way back home.
Best,
SJ

I missed the 10.41 run because I was trying like mad to get my TT race ready, however, I did make it there in time to see a really cool nitrous backfire on Jack's last run. That put the car out for the evening.

video: http://3sforum.com/ipoalbums/xwing (grabbed from the thread on 3si) btw, I love in the beginning where you can hear the announcer say, "...he must be a doctor, I can't read his hand-writing."

Thanks for the link Matt. I finally got to see it!!! If I were there for it (everyone throw things at Greg) I would have had the tripod and a little better vid. These lamers on car domain telling me that "12.57 isn't slow" haven't been to a race track. All you jerks and your fast cars with wheels and turbos and stuff..... I see my TV disappearing and car parts appearing again. I have to stop hanging out with you car gurus. FYI: Anyone intersted in defi BF gauges, this is the best price I've found in my searching : http://www.hopupracing.com/defigauges.html

I hear you Eric -- it's a sickness, a disease, and I know I'm infected. It all started with that HKS FIPK... "How much for the women? How much for the little girl?"GREAT RUN JACK! SORRY I MISSED IT! See you in two weeks if not sooner Doc. Best, SJ
