Well, after 2+ months of shopping around... I finally ordered some new rims today. I was going to go with the Spyder wheels, but the best price I found would have cost me over $2000 so I passed on them. I'm picking up 17x9 Konig Villians rims brand new. Here's a pic of what the rims look like. When I get them, I'll probably install my new control arms and Teins springs at the same time then get it balanced. The Konig's weigh 22 pounds so that'll be a bit of weight savings over the stock wheels at 29 pounds... That'll work nicely with the weight savings of my carbon fiber driveshaft too. I'm glad to be done shopping for wheels, what a pain in the butt. I'm DONE spending money for awhile now. I hope.

I had a set of villans and I really liked them but I like the tantrums that I have now better. I think you will really like them too

I'm keeping my tires since they only have about 3,500 miles on them. The rims are 17x9 so I can get away with it without needing to upgrade to 18's.
With the rims and the Teins, the car should look a bit nicer now instead of having the ugly wheel gap with my curb rashed rims, bah.
Dunno if I should keep my stock rims as spares or sell em for a few bucks.

I got just the bargain for you Jesse. I'm looking for some wheels to put snow tires on, or one stock wheel for the 93sl, cuz one is bent. I have the stock wheels from the 99 on it now, but those tires are about shot too. I was thinking that if all you want is some spare wheels for that just in case situation, the 93 stockers might work for you. Then I could have a decent set with snow tires, and still have a set with some good tires for summer. Blah, blah, blah. Lemme know eh? Aaron

That's a very nice selection Jesse! I really like those wheels, and always admired them on other cars.

Nice rims, Jesse. Glad to see you found the ones you wanted. Where did you find them?

Villians have been discontinued for over a year and are a total PAIN to find, especially brand new. I'll email you my contact I used to get them...
