To funny now everyone will think I have a Viper ! I wish! Anyway It looks like I may need to put one part in my car. It's the Oil Fliter bracket/ stud for oil filter mine got wrecked at lube pros and they won't take credit. So like an oil change and then put this bracket in. Maybe Greg can check my Stealth's Oil Pressure to see if all is well.....The light has been flickering on at low rpms. Oil is up to snuff but lube pro's slamed me with 5-30 . I only ever use 10-30 .....So I wonder if this is the problem with the light? I will bring spotted cow to help off set tool use . Do I need to worry about oil disposal???????????

1) Adam + guest. -=nothing. my car's gonna run... =- 2) Matt P. - Tuning, plugs?, consuming large amounts of alchoholic beverages 3) Bert 4) Brandon 5) Matt R. 6) Kyle (Bunk) Timing belt, Water pump, tensioner, etc.. (Checked with Greg and said we will have the time) 7) John & Amy (plus more) -- Tuning my motor with 450cc injectors in it. 8- Greg & Joanna 9) Bret & Mechanic Chad - Tune-up on VR4 10)Peter (pstriegel) 11) Aaron -trying to get (drunk) my fing emanage to work all day/night 12) Joe -- Possibly putting in poly mounts -- Definitely getting drunk. 13) Foosball Table (Eric) 14) Tim - Bringing his viper. and changing the oil in it.
I'll make sure I dump both my oil containers before the big day. if we fill them up, we'll have to make a dumping run. you'll need to bring your own oil. I suggest a little heavier than 10w30, but whatever your comfortable with.

Here here, I can't believe some of you are playing that lame and boring WoW game, DAOC totally kills it in quality and neither matches up against Counter-Strike. Not like I have time to play either with an 8 month old son, sigh. At least I'm still the kind of loser that owns a Vr4. Brett wrote: Real men play FPS'.

Bad news, looks like the VR4 is not going to make it to WI for the tune-up. I took it out for a spin today and it is running extremely rough in all gears stuttering and losing power. That being the case I will have to do the tune-up here unfortunately. I will probably bring out my 92 SL instead to do the miscellaneous stuff I had mentioned before but will recap here:
1. Radiator flush/fill & thermostat (I have the thermostat from the dealer). Although I don't even know if I will do this, I didn't realize they put a new thermostat in when they put new heads on just a few months ago so it probably is the radiator and not the thermostat. I'll let you guys scope it out when I get there.
2. Oil pressure sender switch (I have the switch) 3. ECS 4. Recharge A/C 5. Fog light assembly
I can't afford to fix both right now so will probably leave the VR4 parked until after the event.
Adam, it is such a long drive (8+ hours) I was wondering if you would have a problem if I left Friday after work around noon and crashed a couple nights. Otherwise I will have to leave around 5 am Saturday. I don't want to impose though and don't know still if I would leave Friday but thought I would see if that was an option. See you all next weekend.
Thanks,
Bret

Wow, Brett that is a long drive, plus you have to go through Chicago. I'm also in Michigan but only live 100 miles north of Green Bay. I will be at Adam's on Saturday. I plan to drive down early in the morning. Just hope my car will cool down enough to work on it early so I can get it all done. Hopefully the weather is nice and no rain. I will bring down my tools, jacks and jack stands and pick up beer on the way.
It will be nice to meet some other W3SI guys.
Kyle

Yeah, I live much farther east than you do, but may be up for a caravan if we can coordinate. Let me know what time you are going to leave and where you are leaving from and maybe we can hook up. I have some two-way radios I brought to the dells gathering, could be fun. Would be great to meet someone from Michigan.

Brett, I have no problem lending a bed out for an extra night if you need it. Or a couch.

Oh, I can't forget Joanna either. Adam do you have?: mean & nasty impact No, but I can get some from Craig.air ratchet yestiming belt special tool I will put money down on me giving you my last oneclips to hold t-belt to cam gears I have huge nylon ties. that's what we used on mine. other than that, I think I still have the gator clips that we did not want to use on my car pinned to my tool box.ratcheting wrenches hellz yes. who works on these cars without ratcheting wrenches... Also, I would recomend piking up some cam gear holders from supercar engineering. If they work like I believe they should, they will be the best cam gear moving deturant. (sp)[/b]
