The NG was a lot of fun for me despite some annoyances like the judging at the car show. Jesse really deserved a trophy for his engine bay. I did pick up the second place trophy for the stock MAS AWD quick 8 with 12.7@113 and a pitiful 60 foot- need to work on launching with the RPS MAX.

W3SI really did good the drags, thats 4 cars in the AWD quick 8/stock MAS. Come on Jack T's engine bay is clean, only what needs to be that and that Mobile 1 catch can is the bomb. J/k Jack your car is sweet but not a show car.

My biggest overall complaint with the NG was the food package. Seemed like a total waste of money and I'd never get it again. My $10 brat at the drags was a complete joke. I could have ate more and much better food for the same $65.
Not even gonna comment about the car show.
I think our club did great out there. I was really glad with the way everyone represented W3SI on the national level. Was cool seeing all the W3SI t-shirts being worn too! Good job guys. Seeing how well we did in so many categories just reassures me how awesome our club is and how it's one of the better local chapters around.
Don't forget... Green Bay gathering on the 31st! Jesse

I didnt know he took 2nd either. We really did do well in the drags. Also, it wasnt 'cleanest', it was 'best' engine bay. i think they took the fact of Jack's completely custom engine bay into effect, not just polished parts. Plus it never hurts to have XWING on the plate and a long time 3/S legend. And I agree with you, Jesse, on the food package. Wasn't even as good as past years. Wasn't worth $65 for most people. Although i think I ate $50 worth of Hooter's buffet.... LOL. Damn I was hungry that night.

Hey guys, It was cool hanging out with the W3SI peeps. I think we had more fun making fun of things at the gathering than actually participating. The jokes floating around at the Steak N Shake on Friday night will live on forever. Congrats to all the hardware the W3SI guys took home. The Autox, car show and drags all had some serious representatives from W3SI. The food package sucked, the 45 minutes of watching an empty 1/4 mile track sucked, the judging at the car show sucked, no timing of the autox sucked, but it was still a lot of fun meeting and hanging out with all of you. And Joe, when is that "All-American Gathering" happening?? I heard a rumor there were going to be details on 3SI this week?? later, Curt

There was about 15 cars there hanging out. They were actually really cool to chit chat with. Brandon even did a little street racing with a MR2 turbo. later, Curt

Had a great time at the gathering, Well i ran my car in the 1/4 mile, first time ever but it was a good time i made 2 passes both at 13.2 @ 106 and 107. Nothing to brag about but not bad for 1st time i guess. ( DR-500s dont tell matt monett lol) And christine's car is running, the ECU was bad and she got a rebuild done to it. She still had a blast to at the gathering even though her car wasnt there. I let her drive mine a few times to cheer her up a bit Anyways as far as the n/a fury goes with the gold, I guess you can say every squirrel finds a stray nut once in a while. LoL just kidding joe, awesome work
