Hey all:

Well, since my last post, I've had three what they're calling "episodes." Here I thought those were only found on TV. Basically, three times I've almost passed out again. The pacemaker did the job, but I guess the blood pressure medicine needs to be dialed in. I'm told by many this is normal. I had my one week check up yesterday and they added a "beta blocker" med to the mix to help. Only time will tell and I go back next week Thursday. This whole condition is called "nuero-cardigenic syncope" for all you Doctors out there. So I'm sad to report that because of this -- and the fact the car is in exactly the same spot where it was abandoned Sunday from Road America (because I couldn't afford track pads and I blew entirely through my street pads) -- I'm 99.9% sure you will not see me this weekend.

I hope you all have a great time and great weather. Have one for me.

Oh, and Elvis... in the immortal words of Eddie Murphy:

Sorry about that -- my point was simply that the odds are against me in more than one area is all -- my health AND the current functionality of the batmobile. Please note my Doctor did not approve me to drive or return to work for at least another week.
