O.K, I'm new to the group and finally in the forum. I'm the guy from Iron Mountain, MI...A Yooper who just bought a 93 VR4 this spring. So is the gathering on Friday or Saturday? Everything says Friday at the start and then it says Saturday half way thru the posts. Did you remember that there is a Packer game Friday night?
Still not sure if I could make it if it was on Saturday. I have been travelling so much this is my first weekend home in a month.
Kyle

O.K. I see that the Saturday reference was for the photo shoot. I forgot that there was preseason game until I saw it listed this morning. Just thought some people may have forgot like I did. I know its just a preseason game so no biggie. I also see that you are way on the other side of town. I will keep looking here for the next gathering because I want to check out your cars and get some help on what to do on my car.

Brett wrote: hey devil boy. You get Gaskets this time??? You've stolen all of mine that can be reused. your gonna need the precat to down pipe gasket x2. (o2 housing and F-pipe if your weird) Your gonna need the downpipe to cat. your gonna need upper to lower plenum. probably don't need EGR. we'll use RTV if we have to. I'll see if I can find my spare O-ring for the rear turbo to intercooler pipe. (another seal that I CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF) I think we rtv'ed the F*** out of your throttle body gasket, but it wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to pick one of those up. anything I'm forgetting? Oh, what down pipe? Does it fit reasonably well? Cause if I'm covered with exhaust S*** from your car and then have to put the old one back on I'm gonna be pissed... EDIT: Oh, and pick up a can of PB BLASTER and WD40. I'm out. that'll help the exhaust happen.

I had PB Blaster but I think Tony stole it. I'll pick up another can. I have 3 gaskets, I measured them to be around 2.75 ". If we need more I'll take the benz and go get more WD40 check. I'm buying Roy's Stillen. What other gaskets do I need besides the 3 exhaust ones, shall I pick up a TB gasket? Do I have to go to Van's gayda for that?

Hey, can you guys pick me up another rear turbo innercooler tube ring. Mine is also leaking. It's too oily to use hair gel.
I won't stand for this RTV the fu<k out of anything. A new TB gasket is maybe a dollar or two, and I know you can get them at checker. You have 2 days.
We'll need rubber mallets to install the stillen pipe.
