As i type this.. the tranny is out and the oil pan is dropped and i need one more seal to start putting everything together.................................. wanna talk about a mess, but its worth it cause i think her car will last a long time after all this shit is done to it. My CAR.............Waiting on tranny from supercar to reinstall it, carbotech brakes and pads, buff the living piss outta it....... and i also have 2600 dollars in side work i gotta get done before natinals!!!! Plus work a 12hr swing shift! So pull your head outta your ass and wipe the shit outta your eyes and get the shit DONE!! Theres your motivation Brian

Well, even if I get all this shit done (once the trans is in it won't take long) the chances of buddy club actually getting my wheels here in time is very small.
Ordinarily I love working on cars, but lately I've been out of it for some reason.

yeah, the dream is haunting me joe I may look at the trans again this week/weekend as time permits. I'm going to call buddy club tomorrow and bug them some more; I'm becoming their number one favorite customer!

Thursday night after school is my planned next attempt at getting this bitch back in. I really do not think the wheels are going to be here based on what these assholes have been/are telling me.

The trans is in kids.
Greg, my father, and I got her in finally tonight....once we had the correct method it only took about 45 minutes.
Wasted 12 hours or so doing it the wrong way.
Atleast its in now; the rest of the car should go back together tomorrow afternoon/night.
Just need wheels!

Brian: I'll be there with Sam, but most likely we'll be in the power cavalier.
I don't think these lazy Japanese guys are going to get my wheels here in time.
I'll be calling to bug them some more tomorrow before I start putting the rest of the car back together.

Front sway bar tightened down all the way (not an easy job, ask greg), passenger side reassembled, rear half shafts back in, and transfer case back on today....
Tomorrow put the driver's side together and pick the downpipe up from the guy who's welding the bung on for the wideband action.
The dsm intercoolers should be back this week too.

unclebenny wrote: Front sway bar tightened down all the way (not an easy job, ask greg) The stock sway bar isn't bad, but that larger one sucked. What did you end up doing to get those top bolts in? Alen bolts or thin-walled socket? We're going to have to pull it again to replace your pass side steering rack boot.
