Good times. Thanks for hosting adam. I did my best to make use of every place in/around your abode I thought could possibly be vomited in/upon. Joe decided to join club "V" late in the game...freaking wanna-bees. DJAuggie graced us with his presence/expertise and brought his ride. WTFOMGBBQ???!!! PWN'D!!@@##!!!111

Hey it was great to meet everyone on Saturday and was fun to finally put a face to everyones forum name. I had to try and not get home not too late Saturday because I had to take the family to the fair on Sunday. Got home about 11:30, not too bad and only a few deer. Tried to find Adam and Lisa to say good bye but I could find either of you. I wonder were you were???? A special thanks to Greg for installing the new waterpump, timing belt, etc.... and for showing me how to read my logger. Can't wait to meet up again and have some more time to drink some more beer.
I'm in 3D training at work for this week so not much time to check emails. When I get a chance I need to download some of my pictures.
Had a great time!!
Kyle
P.S. I love the picture of Greg on the tricycle.

Finally got Chad to drop by the forums. He said he doesn't have any extra tools but that is his 3/8" ratchet. If you can drop it in the mail, I can paypal you the shipping. Thanks, Bret ttangel wrote: Ok, thanks everybody for coming out. I had a blast, It was good to see everybody, and I think a fair amount of working on cars was done, even though we did take occasional breaks to drink. We've almost got the house de-desatorized... none of you are ever allowed to eat nerds at my house again. ever. I'm missing a 1/4" drive wrachet. I gained a 3/8" drive swivel rachet. We also have a set of coleman chairs in the back yard and have no idea where they came from. I think that's about it. Adam Once again it was a blast. we should probably start listing off honorable mention quotes... What did unclebenny say...? "Man who talks smart gets smacked in the nuts with a plastic sword." WHACK!

ok, we have an owner for the 3/8 swivel head and the chairs... was there anything else besides my 1/4 wrachet that anyone is missing?
Bret... Address? I'll ship it from work ups if you want. that way there's a tracking number.
Jon and Amy, I can prolly get the chair in the back of the car, but I have to check on the rural cruise...
I forgot about the TWO weddings I have to stand up in during Sept... LAME.

I'm going to get Chad to sign up for the damn forum so I don't have to do his bitch work for him. Adam, Do you want to take a look in your toolbox and see if you have a new Craftsman 21mm 6 point short socket, 1/2" drive? When I installed my lifters I noticed in my toolbox a 21mm multipoint socket there instead. Also shoot me an email with address. I want to send you some $$ to help on your past gathering. I had to leave early to get back home to the wife and kids and never got to pitch in. I also have been swamped here at work so I still haven't had too much time to post. I finally got another used factory Y-pipe to replace my cracked one.....about time! I installed the 99 lifters on Sunday and now the car is so quite, what a difference. If you know anyone that is going to install lifters let me know and I will send them the tool I made, it works great. Well I need to get back to the grind stone. Now I just need to save some $$ to pay off the credit card bill that I put all the parts on.
Kyle
P.S. When is the car going to St Louis? Is the race still on?

P.S. When is the car going to St Louis? Is the race still on? I think there may have been a 21mm 6-point on the impact gun I just recently brought back to craigs.... I didn't think I had any large-caliber 6 pt sockets, othre than my 17 mm TC bolt buster, so I returned it to him. I'll go see if he still has it. I still have Chads swivel driver too! crap. I forgot all about it. Been playing to much WoW lately... seriously. anywho, don't worry about the money. my father's work bought him a new avalanche. so he's selling the green truck, and it will probably be gone by the time thanksgiving rolls around. I told him the avalanche would look just as good sitting in my driveway. he didn't seem to enthused now that he knows my car runs... I'm still saving up coin for the AEM. it turns out that stuffs expensive... who knew, right? :p

Adam, Next time I'm down in the area I will give you a call and drop of your 21mm Multi point socket and pick up my 6 point. Thanks for finding it. Have you done anything on the car? Are you driving it at all or is it just parked in the garage waiting for $$.
Got a new Y-pipe and what a bugger to get on. I fought with it for the longest time and eventually stuck on the old Y-pipe. The seal just keeps wanting to roll inside at it goes on. I had a ton of hair gel to try and get it on. I even swapped my old seal with newer pipe and it still would roll. It was just after installing the new lifters, it was late on Sunday and still wanted to take a test drive so that's the only reason why I just put the old one back on. Maybe tonight I will get some time to try putting it on again. Next spring I just need to buy a chrome one and the rubber adapter.

Kyle Take a heat gun or a hair dryer and heat up the plastic. It will slide on effortlessly. I think I made a post about it in one of the sticky threads...
