So to what do we owe the pleasure of your visit? Is there a special event? I know Michiana group has a shin-dig at someplace called Rum Runners that Saturday, this wouldn't bet that event would it? What's going on in Madison?

Verfer, I don't know why you don't just drop out of elementary school already, I mean seriously, you are not fooling anyone! It's time to move on, the other kids are starting to wonder.

I'm comming home to do some work on Jason's car. Was hoping to hang out with some of you guys too. Saturday night on State street is nationally known Brett. Since you live in the UP of Mich, I can understand why you haven't heard about it.

Bret does not live in the U.P eh!!! He's a troll....he lives in lower Michigan below the bridge. The Yoopers know about state street in Madison. Nothing like a good Halloween drunk as long as no one screws with your car or rolls it over! So does it still end up in riots.

So are you going to dress up? I saw a site with a funny costume. The guy was dressed up as a night stand that you would have next to your bed. He wore a lamp shape so his head looked like a lamp on top of the table. He called it "The One Night Stand"

I'll make the trip. I do every year anyways.
Just so you know, they are charging $5 to to enter State Street saturday night this year. I guess its their way of making a little money while using the excuse its to try and keep the rioters out.

Anyone who's ever been there knows that the real solution to preventing riots is to NOT CLOSE THE BARS - they doit on new years there...
Lets see, we get 50,000 people drunk, then put them all in one street at the same time, sounds like a good idea, no? That's why the riots happen at the same time every year - bar closing.

I've been there 5 of the last 6 years, and many of the problems start before the bars close. I've witnessed tramplings and riots starting before midnight. They just get to be too much to handle when you add the 'legal' drinkers from the bars to the mix. Its just too confined a space for all those 'smart' college students.

I'll just put full coverage on the mini-mits and bring that, they would be doing me a favor. You guys in the UP got a lotta talk, what I don't understand is why you haven't seceded from MI yet? The only thing I can think is there aren't enough people living in the UP to get a majority vote. I'm pretty sure you guys are going to fall into Lake Superior soon anyway though. Ahhh, good ol' fashioned UPer bashing. Bret Bunk wrote: Bret does not live in the U.P eh!!! He's a troll....he lives in lower Michigan below the bridge. Aaron and I are putting a plan together. We just need a meeting spot and a time.
I'm thinking we could meet at my parents in Deerfield around 4:00 since they're between Milwaukee and Madison and only about 20 minutes out of the way for the Appleton/GB guys.
The plan is to have dinner downtown (I'm thining the Angellic) then head out to a couple places (red shed, wandos, Johnny o's). We'll park atop the Civic Center parking ramp (bring some cash for parking).
Around mid-night we'll move elsewhere to avoid getting pegged with tear gas or something. Either to another place off State St. or Aaron offered his place, but we'd need to supply our own drinkage/post drinking snacks.
I'd suggest everyone bring their beater cars unless you'd like me to do a little work to your 3/S. I'd also suggest we car pool as traffic might be heavy, and we don't want to loose anyone.
Please post up (or call me) if you are considering comming.
1. Greg 2. Aaron 3. Jason 4. 5. 6. 7.
