Just tuck the wires behind the dash and write on the display with a crayon what you want your boost to be set at. Should be good to go! Seriously though, they're not hard to hook up. Let me know if you want my help. It'll have to wait till durring or after the NG though... http://www.team3s.com/FAQdsbcmanual.htm

I read through all the documentation you PMed me, thanks for all those resources. The general principles of using the boost controller don't seem too hard to pick up. I was silly enough to think you just picked what PSI you wanted, but it seems clear that you're actually adjusting the factors that result in a certain psi.
For the install, I'd love help. Maybe we can talk about it at the NG and work out a deal of some sort.

Bring it to the NG. We'll put it on there. We'll need some cutters, connectors, nylon ties, and a few basic tools. (I'll be bringing all that.) We'll also need the unit itself, some hose, rubber or silicone, and that should be about it.

Aight, I'll grab it and bring it along. Not sure why anyone would want to do real work while out there on vacation, though. But hey, I'm up for it. As far as all the little hoses, ties, and rubber/silicone and things like that, it's probably best if I just wait 'til I'm out there and hit up a hardware store. Otherwise I'll surely bring the wrong stuff.

Or call IPO and order a vacuum reduction kit for a turbo 3/S. That should get you everything you need. tell him to bring it to the gathering. just an FYI. do whatever you want. way to go EBC by the way. I'm proud of you.

Just make sure the crayon is a nice neon colored one. It adds more horsepower. I've hooked up a lot of Blitz boost controllers. Its really easy. I can give you a hand at the NG too. Looking at the picture, you might have everything. If not, there are plenty of vendors there that will have spare stuff. later, Curt

Ah yes, good point. Didn't think of that. I can probably get the vac reduction kit that adam was talking about right there.

I thought this was something you guys simply did -- yank this off, run this straight over here, et al. Did Aaron lead me astray? Anyone heard from Aaron?
Best,
SJ

Aaron's having rough car luck. When I left on sunday I'm not sure what was up with the car. It still needs a bit of work. I'm sure he'll speak up when he wants.
Well, It's not quite yank and replug. you could probably do most of it with the stock rubber hoses, but they're all brittle and crappy from ten years of heat cycles. It's best to tie into new stuff, and just re run a bit of hose. you'll also need a Tee of some sort, unless you do a vacuum reduction. (but the vacuum reduction kit comes with a bunch of hose that we can use, and what not.)

I've already got the Hose Techniques kit, and I use that hi-tech golf tee mod for blocking them off -- works great. FORE! Best, SJ

Adam's way is just that much more complicated. I've been helping Aaron scramble to get his car ready by the NG. We'll be cutting to the wire, but it will be ready one way or another.

But of course. Does this mod take long and can I put it back if need be... Best, SJ

What? complicated? maybe with the Greddy one I have. I need to run a line through the fire wall. (requires much more hose.) I didn't think that the dual solenoid ones from Blitz were as bad. thought it was just a wire that goes through the firewall. you'll still need a bit of hose though, if you want to keep everything else stock. and a tee. I'll wait to be humbled though. It usally happens anyway.
I'll grab my special "wire-through-the-firewall-tool", just incase anyone wants to still do this.
