Well Im haveing all sorts of luck this year, flat tires, boost leaks, wrong parts, and now to top it off my drive shaft is going out two weeks before the NG. I have called all the dealers around me and they say that the driveshaft is nonservicable and they cant get u-joints to fix it, they said I need a whole new one. My question is are they full of it or are they right, and if they are right whats a good performance drive shaft to get? I was looking at the 3sx alumaim and steel driveshaft for $850

WTF? You get a u-joint with the recall kit... Maybe they just don't sell the joints individually. You could try taking an old one out, run to your local parts store, set it on the counter, and ask if they have one.
