We're still trying to get this off the ground, but I got together with a friend, and we pooled our $$ together to purchase a professional chrome platting kit. It can do chrome, silver, nickle, and gold. The kit should be here in the next couple days, and we are going to start practicing on a few things.
This is getting pretty exciting. We picked a name for our business, and I'm currently looking into becomming an LLC. I'm also looking for someone to make/host a website for us.
Once the ball is rolling, I'll make a thread about our services. Stay tuned.

What's left to do on Jesse's car?
Maybe I shouldn't ask...

440 4x4 wrote: Nothing south of the engine bay has been polished In all honesty though, his car does look AWESOME. There will be people who may want to replicate parts of it and that could be very beneficial for you. Get into powdercoating also ( I'm totally unsure of cost of that) and you'd have the attention of everyone around here. Oh yeh, it's fun to give Jesse he11 for spending so much $$ on fancy $hit like that, but the truth is, I'm sure we all would love to have a car that clean. It really is a site to see an engine bay dressed up like that. I can't wait to see what his will look like when it's done. With Dave Best leaving the scene, there's a market he's leaving behind that I hope to pick up on. Seems like many more 3/S owners are more interested in making their cars pretty rather than fast. I'm sure if we do this right (and make it affordable), we will do very well. We hope to do more than just plating too. Imagine being able to "plate" a plastic emblem or timing belt cover. *wink at Jesse* It's not a powder coat and it's really shiney and can be done in any color you can imagine. I'm giving too much away before take off...

Okay folks, I just signed up too. In fact, I'll be shoving the whole family in the car for the trip. Can't wait to see that Discover bill next month... Greg -- how much would it cost to chrome my whole car? Best, SJ
