Just picked up a 95 3kgt over the weekend and apparently the air decided to stop working as soon as I got it. The previous owners claims it worked for him, and that it even worked on the 3 hour drive from Minneapolis to Wausau, WI when he brought the car over. Now I have tried checking the fuses, they looked fine. I checked the relays, they looked fine, not really sure how to tell if a relay is bad or not. I also pulled out the blower motor and hooked it up to the battery and it turned on full speed no problem. So I am wondering what else could be the problem with it and what I need to check. Its manual climate control.

There is also a control box for the A/C under the glove box. It's about three screws to drop the kick panel down, and see if it is plugged in.
When I had mine unplugged my A/C would do nothing, but I believe it would blow air out the vents.
Might not be your problem, but another quick thing to check.
Also, sometimes fuses can look good but be blown. A multi meter is the best way to check them.
As far as testing relays, you put power across the activating pins, and see if the other two pins will then complete a circuit. (or if it switches over in the case of a five pin relay...) [also dependent on how the relay works. I was kinda talking about the typical four pinner.]

Control box is plugged in. I pulled all the A/C and blower relays and plugged them in one at a time in the headlight relay spot and they all worked. Also, when I push the A/C button, there is no amber or green light so I am wondering if the switch might be bad or if there is no power coming to the switch.

When you push the button, does the light flash at all and then go out? Because that will tell you it is a problem with the compressor/r134a.

No light at all, the only light I get is the panel lighting up amber when I turn the headlights on.
