Cool, well I got some ngk bcpr7es's today, I just gapped them to ~.030", and I next day aired some msd wires (yes I'm desperate), so they should be here on saturday.
Who's taking bets?
Fix it?
Won't fix it?
I trade my car straight-up for a peppy riding lawn mower after it doesn't fix it?

So I put in the new plugs and wires, and my car runs like shit, it feels like it's on 5 cyl., I have a cel, and I took everything off to make sure the wires were secure...they are. I'm so sad...

I fixed the arcing, the CEL was for "Ignition Timing", I tried some other stuff, I'll copy and paste it here.
My car had a bad hesitation in 1st gear under upped boost (6ish psi was ok  ) at WOT starting at about 4.2kish rpm. So I put in some brand new msd wires, and brand new ngk bcpr7es's gapped to .032". I start my car and it sounds like I'm running on 5 cylinders. So I tried to diagnose an ignition problem, and I think maybe a coil pack is bad?
If I pull the wires off the coil packs for cyl. 1-5, the coil arcs a lot and the engine slows down a bit. But when I do it for cyl. 6, it doesn't arc as much, and the engine doesn't really slow down much/any more than if I leave it in.
I pulled the wire out of the cylinder and put it on a metal screw and it very rarely/inconsistently/weakly arced on it, whereas the wire in the cylinder next to it was consistent.
If the PTU was bad, could only 1 cylinder be affected? Also, I know a coilpack fires a simultaneous spark for 2 cyl., but if one went bad, could it affect only 1 cyl?
Oh I also threw a CEL, and it said "Ignition Timing".
Thanks, what do you guys think?

I believe the coils will arc with one lead pulled off. but I may be very wrong...
the thing that I don't understand is why it seems to have gotten worse since you swapped wires? (at least that's what I'm picking up from your description.)
I would also think that a bad coild would drop two cylinders... but I may be wrong again due to electrical stuff in general being odd.

Yay!! My car runs better than ever!! An injector clip fell off, so that fixed the 5 cyl. problem, and my hesitation is gone now!! Woo hoo!!! Thanks everybody.
