This morning I noticed a new member on the site. I see that he did a quick post on the message about last years Minnesota gathering. Crap he posted links and bascially was starting to get spam into our site. It was maybe 20 minutes later that I went back to this site and all traces of him are gone!! AWESOME Guys!!!! BYE BYE SPAMMERS!!! W3SI guys are on to you.

P.S. the guys name was .....blogger something. His name pretty much gave him away.

Even with the latest version of phpBB, the spam bots are really agressive. A couple times a week I delete garbage ids off of MN 3/S. A quick look in W3SI, looks like most of the ids from 248 on up are spam bot ids. SJ and Aaron have some clean up to do.  The dead giveaway is when you look at there www link in there profile. Looks like SJ or Aaron cleaned up the spammer ids, but there are a dozen new ones from yesterday.  To help reduce the number of them you should turn on the "Visual Confirmation" thing. Its under the "General Admin" and then "Configuration" menu.
