Regarding changing of clutch, I am looking for tips on reinstalling the linkage bushings.
The VERY END of the linkage cables are connected to the trans with a pair of linkage bushing and cotter pins.
The cotter pins were extremely difficult to remove. It seems the cable end and bushing take up most of the space on the connection shaft leaving absolutely no cotter pin hole clearence.
Does anyone have a tip on how to squeeze the bushing and cable end together to get in the cotter pin.
Thanks.

Does the nub (where the cotter pin goes thru) have corrosion on it? It sounds like you just don't have it on far enough.
