Electrical problems really suck. It all started when I got this crazy idea to paint my whole car. I disassembled the whole car. Every body pannel was removed, everything on the engine bay walls were removed, hand sanded, and painted.
Upon reassembling the car, I forgot 1 bloody thing. The little black ground wires for the ECU and ignition. They share the same bolt as the negative battery terminal in the engine bay. So, the result was a really week spark, whacked EGT's (jump up and down spiratically), and knock under boost no matter what the ARC settings were set to.
Here's everything I did to track the issue down after finding the ground wires not hooked up:
Vac reduction
Cleaned the paint out of the threads for the bolt hole.
Replaced plugs and wires (2x)
Compression test
Pressure test/fix leaks
Tested/replaced ignition coils
Tested/swapped out PTU
EGR delete
Tested Cam and Crank sensor wires
Checked timing
Pulled/examined ECU
Triple checked all wiring
Swapped out EGT gauge control box
Stock fuel pump relay delete/resistor bypass
Cleaned paint out the thread for the pleunum ground (and swapped in the correct bolt)
Many sleepless nights starting at the electrical manual
The car boosts .95 bar now with no knock till redline in 3rd and my datalogger works perfectly now. EGT gauge is still whacked. It probably needs to be replaced. Traction in 40 degree temps sucks.

I'm going to either GLD or Kaukana sometime this week, then the car is going away for the winter. My goal is to beat the 12.3@109 Matt Monnett ran in my car 2.5 years ago. Anxious to finally see what she will do (or break something while trying).
