Thinking that maybe we'll try this, this year... 10a -- ? We are setting up the 3rd annual car cruise for October 2014. Colors should peak around October 10th, and that is when I think we will have the best experience! I am in the SE Wis area north of Milwaukee. Please let us know if you wish to join us, either by text or message. We will most likely start at my business (WRIGHT AUTO REPAIR) in Germantown and go from there winding through the Kettle Moraine (the Kettles are the most beautiful sight in fall). We will not be in populated cities at all. I would look for a 60 mile cruise. Of course, you can duck off whenever you would like. If it is anything like last year, it is going to be a fantastic time. My (Harley LSx Wright) phone number is 262-323-1335. Feel free to contact me with any thoughts or concerns!!!Here is the public site: https://www.facebook.com/events/151156595093399/Thoughts?

Instead of our Rural Cruise? Is there a W3SI Rural Cruise this year?

Well, it lives. Nice to hear your voice Mr. Ink.
We talked about Aaron running one out in the Mad-town area, but we agreed it just doesn't seem worth it. There doesn't seem to be any real interest, hardly anyone shows up anymore, and if you and I and Aaron show up, there would be three cars there as of this writing... And don't forget, Uncle Benny is for all intents and purposes gone now as well. Seems like lots of folks are in the midst of life changes, just busy, taking a year off, cars down, life has gotten in the way, newer platforms are winning, etc. Whatever it may be.
So, a few of us have been checking out the Stance, HITM, Smile On, LMT, Joel's Exotics, Subaru, DSM and Evo crowds this year (my phone died and I now finally have a new one, so I'm delinquent in posting pictures). Even though this summer has sucked weather-wise, it has been good folks, strong numbers at tons of gigs, with a lot charity events as well. They've welcomed us with open arms, make it easy, it's the Fast and Furious crowd, and they have been inviting us, so it seemed like a good idea to try it and see. If the weather holds, I'll be there, as well as Zack -- in his WRX.
At Dyno Days, I think Harley indicated it's their third year, and they moved the date as winter is coming fast and furious, but if the route sucks we can always peel off and do the main part of our old route (If SJ can remember it [AHEM]). The plan is for the 3K's go into storage right after, unless the weather falls down before. If the event sucks, there's always next year.

If you want a 4th car, I might be tempted to join.
Long as kid can ride along.

I'm out of town October 5th, unfortunately. I'll have to catch the next event, Hooters, etc...

Well, best laid plans.... I'm not sure what's going on, but something has happened to this event and it looks like it has been canceled. I am told there is another cruise today at Noon, forming at County Line Road and Snap Fitness, but that screws up plans for me relative to timing, so I will not be able to attend. If weather holds, anyone interested in trying the old route next weekend? Weather looks nice? Or... If weather holds, we could cruise to Road America and see Jack run his GTR, and/or maybe do something the weekend of the 18th? However, colors may be past? If the weather would holds... Aaron had a great idea of some Halloween fun... If weather holds... I think I'm going to change the name of the album to "If The Weather Holds..."
