Ok folks, when do we want to do this? Sounds like we don't want to do it overtop of MOD, so that means I'll be pissing off a child (or two) and the wife no matter what I do. Let's try to nuts this thing out here. Ok, Matty can't do 9/19. Keep in mind, Road America is Early this year, October 3-4th. Others?

You may have to do a poll of the weekends that it's convenient for you and see who intends on coming and what weekends they can't or can attend. I wouldn't put out to many choices or it will be a mess for you. My 2 cents............

September 5th September 26th October 24th October 31st
Those are my only free saturdays in September/October (three weddings, a bachelor party, and a charity event dominate the other five weekends).
Totally understandable if RC turns out to be a weekend that I can't make. It'll suck after missing UMG due to a wedding, but what can ya do...?

The later the better for me...I want to make sure the vr4 is done for this! I think i attended 2 years ago or something with the NA car, i brought my dad and little brother along and they still talk about how much fun they had.

Ok kiddie's, here's an update -- I cannot do it October 24th. The 31st is Halloween -- which could be interesting -- but can also be dicey weather-wise. Comments? Oh, and Uncle Benny has again graciously offered his party-execution expertise for the Afterglow, whatever that may turn out to be.

Halloween will suck for anyone with small children, such as me...
You cannot deprive children of a holiday complete based around playing tricks and getting treats.
I also dress up and escort most of the small children around my house, and for it I get a share of the haul...
Don't make me choose between my car and my candy. It'll get ugly.

Don't make me choose between my car and my candy. It'll get ugly. Halloween will suck for anyone living in or around Madison. You cannot deprive college children of their most belligerent holiday of drunken mischief and debauchery. I also dress up and escort women to the keg in my kitchen, and for it I get...nevermind, who am I kidding, I get nothing for it. Don't make me choose between my car and my beer. It'll get ugly.

She asked for MY number and that was after UMG.

Does the MOD event really create a conflict? Just an honest question, I don't hear our group talk much about attending that event.
I could do the first two Sundays in October, although that's obviously less preferable in respect to doing a post-party.
