I'll be there. Most likely not in the NA FURY, but there none-the-less.

No friends allowed? Did I read that right?
I really don't feel like driving 4-5 hours by myself.... but if thats how it must be, I will probably still come. Now the question remains- which car?

It should have stated "Please do not invite your friends to bring their rustbucket nissan or crappy honduh (sorry Jhammer) or whatever they might drive unless it's a 3000GT or Stealth." If you want to bring a ride-along, you are more than welcome as long as she is hot.

If you want to bring a ride-along, you are more than welcome as long as she is hot. Correct -- thanks for the clarification A. In fact, both my normal riders are now out, CC and then Homecoming dance, so I may have to bail quickly after a beer and giveaways to head home to deal with these two groups before the dance. If I can, I may return. I failed on the second part of A's constraints, but I've invited a super nice neighbor friend of mine who has no idea what he's gotten into, but just had a death in the family and needs a really good out. His name is Dave. SJ

Why does she need a matching friend? she has more than one... you know what... before this gets too "R" rated I'm just going to walk away...

Ok guys, let's stay on topic... Here's an update: I've only managed to get through about third so far, but yes, some of the route does have some construction currently, but I was told it should be done before we arrive. Let's hope so. Regardless, it won't change our route. For those that keep asking, let me reiterate that we really cannot make a rain date for this event,so it remains rain or shine. We've had both. Pray for weather like last year! Many folks drive quite a ways to get here for the event and everyone's schedule is tight this time of year. In addition, some folks take off work. So while I'd like to be able to propose that, it doesn't work on a variety of levels. Think sun. It's a great drive regardless. FWIW, it's been discussed that this might be the last year for this particular route -- we may look for and design a different one in another location for next year. So if you've not done this awesome route, c'mon out and be ready to drive and enjoy some great roads and scenery. SJ

Hey folks: To those of you bringing riders, please have them bring a digital camera to take some pictures. We always need more pictures of our events! Thanks, SJ
