Any you guys remember Flash! (Darren Schilberg) from pencil-tucky? I first met him at the DSM Shootout or Nelson Ledges at the first Ohio Gathering. I know he used to always go to the East Coast Gathering, and was in attendence for at least one UMG. He's a computer guy and had this incredible weather program on his laptop. He has a red 2G VR-4 with Sparco racing seat and roll bar -- and I guess he's selling it. Hasn't been an easy time for him. He was one of the few, the proud, like me, that got laid off back in 2002 and have never fully recovered. Another road racer bites the dust... SJ

We'll, I think it's safe to say 76. Looks like my other 3k will be on the road. I put a new tranny in my 91 vr4 and it's running solid. I put new heads and timing belt in my 92 dohc and it fired right up and sounds great but needed a tranny also. The tranny is now sitting at the shop and should be installed Monday. So if all goes well my buddy will drive my 92 up and we can call it 76. Looking forward to the big day. Also, I'm signed up for the big event in June also in St. Joseph MI. Being that I live in MI about 1.5 hours away from the "official hotel" location I probably won't be getting a room and just driving each day. I have a guest house and a couple extra rooms. If any w3si members bribe me with enough beers on the midwest gathering they may be able to save on a hotel bill and shack up at my place . I'll have to check out the caravan thread as I'll have a good start on one out of MI on the 18th. Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone. Bret curt_gendron wrote: Hey everyone, I updated the sign up list. We are up to 75 people signed up. That is the same number as we had last year. We still have six weeks left. Curt,
As of right now Amber and I will still be coming Friday to Saturday to see everyone, we're taking either her Malibu or my Cutless.
The vr4 is down and I'm not sure how long for... goal is NG.
