Hey Matt:
I arranged with Le Duc's & Finn's an approximate ETA of 4 p.m.-ish. I really can't say exactly as that will depend on a number of factors inluding weather, speed, how long we take at DQ and how long we take taking photographs. So I guessed around 4 p.m.
I'm going to have my 12 year old daughter with me as it's her turn in the rotation for events, so we'll probably be doing just Le Duc's for custard and then hitting the highway. The reason I also contacted Finn's Bar & Grill, which is essentially next door, was in case anyone wanted to stop by for some adult libations. Please note their kitchen closes at 4 p.m. on Saturday's.
Now, if you were looking for more of a place where you could get your taste buds dragged through the garden, back up by Hwy. 83 at I-94 are a number of great restaurants like the Water Street Brewery or the Delafield Brewhaus. That could be a viable option.
