So I've replaced my ptu 3 times now, entire coil pack and checked a bunch of electrical. My car still will not run is there a fellow member that can test my computer or some one have a TT ECU that I could try running in my car? Any help would be appreciated thanks

I'm in Milwaukee and It ran just threw 5 codes all ignition and injector codes tried a bunch of things and nothing would work, pulled the computer and this is what I found...well it's not letting me post a pic from my phone...but on the inside there's that row of blue diodes or whatever and there's a brown orangey substance in between them and the board is really dirty like something leaked all over them or something. The blue things would be capacitors and the brown orangey substance would be the electrolyte the has leaked out of them.
You two choices are replace the ecu or replace the capacitors. If you decide to go with the later have it done by someone who knows what they are doing or you will be forced to use the other option.

Ok got my computer back now the car runs but has no power....checked my ptu I set my ohm meter to 200k like stealth 316 describes when the battery is not hooked up the reader reads 49.5 when I hook the battery up it reads -50.2 so I'm taking it my ptu is shot? I have 3 and on one I tested the oc1 port read -2.4 which I think is what it's close to reading. Can anyone verify that I'm doing it right or could they test one to see wha readings they get from it?
