I put up my car over Labor Day to fix my brake squeekage... Well I found more than I wanted under my car! Turns out my CV boot totally seperated , So on the back of my newly painted caliper and cleaned rims there is all this grease!!! This just sucks! I hope that the joint is still tight . I never heard any joint type sounds. But I am glad I found it when I did. TH

Thats good that you found it before it went dry. But that sucks about the caliper and wheel. Did you clearcoat your calipers? If you did, they will clean up easy. Have fun.

Adding insult to injury, I have to seperate the lower ball joint to pull the shaft and that is the side that was growing a little worse wiht time, So .....I will end up coughing up the $470 for a new lower control arm to boot! I guess what better time to deal with some ISSUES! RIGHT!LOL I put the other lower arm 2 years ago. I guess I am In too deep to stop now right???? Later guys ! Ps No clear coat DUMB ME !!!! I got my Clear coat after I did my intake. The brakes were on like just a week before I put my polished intake on. I guess I'll have to fix that also. Bbviper

Just spray down the area with brake cleaner and engine degreaser and it should clean up fine. You don't have to replace the control arm for a ball joint any more. http://www.3si.org/portal/forums/showth ... ball+jointIt is just an example I don't know the seller but many places are selling these now.

upgraded n/a fwd shafts or TT ones? because unless you plan to push 300 ft-lbs to the grouns with slicks and a 4k launch, you dont need to upgrade over the stock n/a fwd shafts.
