So I got to looking at the front wastegate today. If I remember correctly, ver fer said that when it is disconnected, the hole should line up with the post?? Mine is about 3/16" too short. The cotter pin was also missing - a nice touch! Here it is:

Nope that looks about right. It should be short about half the eyelet.

In that case does it make sense to look at the rear before looking into other things? -I'm not exactly sure how accessible it is- I'm gonna check it anyways when I have time but am curious if just rear wastegate could be causing the boost issues. Thanks again

No. You would have to the rear off to check it.

If the rear is not about the same preload that could cause your issues, as it will mean only one turbo is trying to make more than wastegate. It may be possible to fanagle the back arm off. I'm not really sure anymore, as I can't check that.
Good luck.

Ok then... I have the 60k Parts ready for install for this car. I'm ready for another big teardown this winter. Anybody willing to help?
I'm prepared for a turbo upgrade (if needed)... at least a turbo rebuild is in order.....

Adam- good to hear & thanks again. Let's have a few and get it done!
Now that the 92 is boosting stock psi, overheating issues have begun.
Temp gauge was at about 75% today cruising at 60mph. Got home and about 5 mins later there is a 6' diameter puddle under the car. Why did I get a turbo car again?
