*UMG POLICY CHANGE*: Unclebenny will be wielding the VR-Slow for the first time for the last time at the UMG this year. There will be a petting zoo setup in the parking lot for those persons who need to touch it to believe it.

Wow, big turn-out, and I just noticed that I had the coveted "69" spot on the sign-up list. curt_gendron wrote: Hey everyone,
We are up to 81 sign ups. Thats great! Not much new to report. I'll hopefully get the schedule finalized in another week or so.

We'll this maybe should have gone in the stuff for sale section but I really wanted to just target people who were going to be at W3SI. I think I'm going to have two transmissions that I can bring with me to sell. I posted an article in the "Transmission Woes" thread about them. They were sold to me with a 3 month warranty (not that I will be able to pass that on) but it tells you the people who sold it to me are confident they work. The tranny's ran me $650 a piece and are said to have 40-60k miles on them. I don't mind taking a bit of a hit on them and think I can part with them for between $500 and $550, plus I can't pass on the warranty so they would be sold as-is. If anyone who will be at W3SI is interested, let me know and I'll drag them out there, if not, I may not bother. One tranny is for a 91-93 DOHC Auto. The other is for a 94+??? Not sure yet, going over tomorrow to take pics of it and figure out what it is for but should be a 94+ DOHC Auto. Sorry if this isn't in the right place, feel free to move it. See you all at the gathering. Thanks, Bret curt_gendron wrote: STORMEASTON wrote: :D Hey Curt, how about having a swap meet this year. Anybody who has stuff to sell could bring there items along, and say Friday nite, during the B.S. session and Saturday during the cook out sell'em. We could charge a small fee and then use that for a door prize or something else. I've got a ton of Stealth stuff and I'm sure other guys have upgraded things on there cars and have perfectly good OEM or after market stuff to sell. I'd be willing to organize things and collect the fee's. I think its a great idea to bring your stuff to sell. We probably don't need anything too official and we don't need to charge for it. Just let people know what you are bringing and pop your hatch at the hotel and put up a sign or something. Mabye a few days before the event I can send out an e-mail about who is bring what to sell. later, Curt

As of right now Amber and I will still be coming Friday to Saturday to see everyone, we're taking either her Malibu or my Cutless.
The vr4 is down and I'm not sure how long for... goal is NG. Hey Brett, No problem. Glad to hear you are still making the trip. Looks like there will be a few W3SIers without there cars. later, Curt

It's starting to look less and less like I'll be able to come. It just boils down to $$, and I just can't afford a hotel and expences...
Sorry guys.

I might also miss out on the fun, as the money tree has been cut down to due to some unexpected issues.

The shiite has hit the fan here, too. It's looking like I might need a new Potenza (again!) before my car is travel ready. That's a lot of money that I wasn't prepared to spend, coming within a month of all my 60k expenses.
I'm considering riding up with someone else at this point.
I. hate. life.
