It would appear it is going to be a small-scale cruise this year.

I will be there for the gathering after the cruise, I will just not be on the cruise.

We'd like to thank 3SX Performance for sponsoring our event again this year. Please think of them when ordering your parts. Grover is happy to help. W3SI will, of course, be tossing some of our infamous and most sought-after SWAG in the kitty as well. Now, a few reminders: This is not a RACE. If you want to race, Road America in a couple weeks is the event to attend. This is a CRUISE. There is construction around the Ryan Road exit, so be careful. Other than that, some of the rustic roads are more rustic than before (read: even bumpier than before), and they actually paved one just for us. Because we are so late this year, we may bump into a couple fall festivals and more other car and bike clubs than normal. If you bring a passenger, you may want to have them bring a camera and take some pictures of this very cool area. These are some of the most sought-after roads in the area, and between great shots of us driving, the very cool winding roads and Holy Hill, there are many opportunities for some fine shots just around the next bend... Here are a few: There also seems to be much more activity in this region than normal, including, but I suppose not limited to: the cops, old men wandering about, runners, bicycle riders, other folks driving real slow looking at the fall colors -- and my personal favorite -- sheep. Be sure you dress comfortably and have plenty of gas, and maybe a water bottle. The first part of this event is two hours long -- if there are not obstacles or issues like Ninja's getting lost or last minute paving -- as we make our way through the Kettle Moraine Forrest, up and around Hogsback and past Holy Hill to Hartford. The second part is closer to forty-five minutes as we make our back down to Casa de Uncle Bennio. It will be important you keep up with the group as the route is in my head -- I have no map to hand out. To reiterate, I am coming form a CC meet with the kid in Cudahy. With 894/43 being closed all weekend, it ought to be a treat. We are trying to depart on the cruise around 1p. If you are not there by 1p and simply running a few minutes late, you need to let A-man or me know so we wait for you. Lastly, the person that spent much time riding all over this area with me as I figured this whole thing out years ago (which included getting lost and pissing off some Town of Erin neighbors) will actually be in attendance this year. In fact, he will actually be driving his car. This one is for you kid.

I love that my car, which hasn't been out of its cave in some time, still makes it into two of the rural cruise pictures.

That's because it wants to go on the rural cruise... it misses it's friends... And we're back -- more coffee... Ok, I am heading out for the Purgold Invitational shortly. Then it's the banshee run back through downtown and past Farm Aid back home and over to the PNS. If you need me after this, text, call, smoke signal, carrier pigeon -- as a reminder, the bat signal does not work during the daytime. See you then.

I spot my blue 94 in the second pic. I miss that car. It has been in Pennsylvania for almost a year now.
I hope you all had a good time!

I want to thank everyone for coming out and I hope a good time was had by all. I think we had eight cars and sixteen owners.
Perhaps we even garnered a new member -- maybe we can rename him if he ever calls? What would that be, Matt #7?
A big thanks to A-man and Tonia who came all the way over with TWO cars and the t-shirts -- and happy b-day to Tonia a well!

Thanks to everyone for coming out and helping make this birthday a memorable one for me. I had a great time both during and after the cruise, as usual. I hope to actually have my car at all the events next summer. (I know I say this every year) Also, someone left a large grey W3SI t-shirt and silver sticker at my house. Let me know and I can arrange for you to get this back.
