See this post: http://www.w3si.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2782Please note we gave up on the different colors as it was just not cost effective, so they will all be the brushed silver (as shown) from now on. Here are the original directions off the decal card we used to hand out: Please place your W3SI window sticker as shown, on the top of the glass of the rear hatch. We’re simply trying to get some form of uniformity out there.
Begin by finding the center of the back hatch (I used the wiper sprayer) and then mark that line and the line you want to use horizontally on the rear defroster with a grease pencil so you get it on straight. Measure and find the center of the decal and make a small mark on the top of the adhesive (this part comes off). Some have sprayed some water or a mild soap and water solution on the window to allow movement after you place the decal in case you get it on crooked, as this stuff is REAL sticky. Carefully peel off the backing starting at a corner and prepare to place. Next, simply line up your marks and place, using a squeegee or a soft piece of plastic like a body filler tool to gently remove any bubbles after it’s all adhered. When it’s ready, carefully peel the top layer off. Then gently rub over it again. NOTE: Be careful when you clean around it as not to tear it or get any harsh chemicals on it as this may damage the decal. Enjoy!
Thanks, SJ & A-man
