i3ivix was pulled over on hwy 23 about 40 miles from the dells. Haven't heard details on that yet.
My car seems to like 0 oil pressure. Running good still but if I'm not accelerating, its at 0 on the stock gauge. It's been doing this since my clutch replacement 1500 miles ago. I guess the next project is ready for me.
I had a good time meeting some more of you fools. Crazy as always. zero pressure on the stock gauge? the stock gauge sucks. get a different gauge. even a temperary one and check it for real. Oil pressure is important.

Yea, check the connector at the sending unit too, may have just came unplugged depending on what you removed to change the clutch, hopefully it's something simple.

Didn't mean to hijack thread here.. The connector is on... when accelerating it almost gets to "normal" oil pressure (compared to my other cars.) I will do some more diagnostics Tuesday. Back on topic, what was the final count for cars this year?

I got home without any problems. I had a lot of fun meeting some of you guys. I was in the white sl with a damaged rear bumper. Sorry if anyone here got stuck behind me during the cruise... It's hard to keep up without turbos, haha.

I guess I can update a bit before I got knock out.
My fifth gear is apparently out. Clutch sounds like it's warp, it's scratching like crazy, I'm surprise I made it home, but third was a pain. Rev matching hardly helped. I'm sure it's my clutch that is bad and causing my tranny to go, but yeah.
"i3ivix" was pull over doing 100 + on 65 on his motorcycle. He was trying to catch up to us, but apparently we were behind him, saw him getting pull over as we drive by. lol. He got a $500 fine and Need to appear in court next Monday morning at 9. lol.
And to sum it up, I had a blast! Will come next year if my car doesn't act up again. I'm surprise no ones car broke down during the NG, at least none that I heard or saw.
Hope everyone had a great time also.

The cop was really cool with me after i gave him my story. He even told me that he'll get ahold of one of the guys at the courthouse and tell him my story and said they 'should' be able to reduce it to 20 - 25 over and not have to have my license suspended for 15 days. Oops

Were you in the red 2nd gen stealth behind me? I tried to keep up, I really did. I figured you would've passed me. I already have most of the parts for the TT conversion, so maybe I can actually keep up next year.

I already have most of the parts for the TT conversion, so maybe I can actually keep up next year. Much like the rest of team heckle, I don't actually have a car. I rock my bus pass. I just talk about cars on the intrawebz. Verfer and I discussed this topic one time. We both decided it was not polite to whip by people on a cruise, and kinda set a bad precident that would end up being the "norm" of dusting by all the slow cars, and turning an event into a "who can finish a cruise in the least amount of time" fest. Or it would end with a DSM and a crotch rocket passing a square looking SUV-thing, and almost getting someone into a head on accident. Either way, it wasn't so bad following you as I didn't have to sit in a permanant cloud of unburnt fuel like most turbo cars... (and mine. )

Sup my WI bitches! I just made it back about an hour ago!
I gotta give a huge thanks to Aaron. He picked up and replaced the wheel bearing on Sunday and then we grilled some grub at his new house and he let me crash his pad. Truly selfless and hospitable gestures and greatly appreciated by myself.
Thanks John and verfer for making a beer run for me Sat night when I was drunked up on Tequilla! I owe you guys more beers next time I see you.
Adam, you are a complete and total sarcastic ass-hole, don't ever change, it's great.
Too many cool people to mention but it's always great catching up with you guys, I had a great time.
Also, five people and four cars from MI this year, the UMG disease is spreading!

*In the voice of Frank in Old School* I HAD AN AWESOME TIME! Easily top 5 most fun I've ever had in a weekend. It was great meeting Brandon, Scott, Brandon, Preston, Ashley, and even Stephanie. It was cool hanging out with Aaron (I'm sorry I don't recall your wife's name), verfer, unclebenny, Adam (I think you refered to your wife as drunk girl), and pwning noobs in beer pong with Amy. Sorry if I left anyone out, you must just not be a memorable person
