Sorry if anyone here got stuck behind me during the cruise... It's hard to keep up without turbos, haha. Yeah. You were slow. Try to pick up some turbos for next year. Were you in the red 2nd gen stealth behind me? I tried to keep up, I really did. I figured you would've passed me. I already have most of the parts for the TT conversion, so maybe I can actually keep up next year. Much like the rest of team heckle, I don't actually have a car. I rock my bus pass. I just talk about cars on the intrawebz. Verfer and I discussed this topic one time. We both decided it was not polite to whip by people on a cruise, and kinda set a bad precident that would end up being the "norm" of dusting by all the slow cars, and turning an event into a "who can finish a cruise in the least amount of time" fest. Or it would end with a DSM and a crotch rocket passing a square looking SUV-thing, and almost getting someone into a head on accident. Either way, it wasn't so bad following you as I didn't have to sit in a permanant cloud of unburnt fuel like most turbo cars... (and mine. ) uhm... yeah... me and my buddy behind you was high as hell from your exhaust, but it sounded so nice... We just had to follow. Then my eyes started to get dry... Then my buddy christian couldn't open his eyes... lol.. My cig started to taste bad too... ugh... but then those exhaust were so sexy...

my car was overheating like crazy (sometimes up to 130 C) on the way back. as soon as I got home, drained the old antifreeze and filled with water (I heard its the best for cooling) and made my fans blowing Hi speed all the time. its a lot better now.

I knew there was no way insults could get through that hair product. slimsunny34 wrote: It was cool hanging out with Aaron (I'm sorry I don't recall your wife's name), verfer, unclebenny, Adam (I think you refered to your wife as drunk girl), and pwning noobs in beer pong with Amy. It was also good to see you. I love your car. It's so shiny. Now we just have to talk you back into bigger turbos. My wife probably introduced herself as drunk girl. She does that at the UMG. Or maybe me... The only clear memory I have of that night was the bathrobe. P.S. - good job on the movie quote... you're fitting in already. Also, I'm on a boat. Awesome. fwd_3kgt wrote: uhm... yeah... me and my buddy behind you was high as hell from your exhaust, but it sounded so nice... We just had to follow. Then my eyes started to get dry... I was watching my A/F when I would get on it, but it was about right. I think a few of the stumbles I had put a bit of extra gas in the exhaust, though. eh. we'll see how bad it gets when I have the stumble taken care of. Probably not a hell of alot better. I'm glad you liked the exhaust. thanks. a2j wrote: my car was overheating like crazy (sometimes up to 130 C) on the way back. as soon as I got home, drained the old antifreeze and filled with water (I heard its the best for cooling) and made my fans blowing Hi speed all the time. its a lot better now. You can also toss some "water wetter" at it. It will drop the temps even more then just water alone, and has some additives to keep the moving parts lubed and fight build up in the water passages.

Your car was sweet! We were making a joke on it how you clean it every hour or so. At least everytime we see you, you're wiping it down and cleaning it. lol. That had to be the cleanest paint out there, along with a few others of course.

Anytime you need a push... Yeah, stephanie had messaged me on facebook asking for justin's number, not really sure how she found me... By the by brandon, your car looks even better in real life, and the rims are awesome, I owe you a beer. That is, when i'm actually old enough to buy beer legally. Damn it.

It sounded like tits until your car went... bah booom! then I saw the brake lights coming on... lol. That is what I believe happens when I'm at the top of the RPM band, and the injectors are dumping enough fuel for 20 psi, and the ignition can't lite it in the cumbustion chamber, and as soon as it hits the hot manifolds unburnt, it explodes. I'm uncertain if I should go MSD or coil on plug. I've got some research to do.

I may regret this. Who texts someone at 7am? I don't have high school in the morning, I'm fucking sleeping at 7am. But at least she'll stop bothering you guys now. You're welcome.

Weren't you the one that was worked up about the GF wanting to come, then not coming? Now texting some other girl? I mean, hey, I don't care, what happens in the dells stays in the Dells, I'm just saying, next year you'll be the guy wearing the bathrobe.

A big THANKS to all that made the trip to Wisconsin Dells for the UMG. We set a new record with 54 3/Ses and 65 owners. That is awesome considering how crappy the economy is!
The rural cruise on Sunday had 45 3/Ses in it, 8 other cars, and 2 bikes. Having 55 vehicles in a rural cruise smashes the old record.
The weather was a little cool on Friday and Saturday, but we didn't really have any rain. Sunday was a beautiful day for the cruise. I'm still recovering, so I haven't done anything with pictures, but there are a lot of other pics floating around.
Thanks again, Curt

For those that didn't hear, the exact words were, "I just don't want to take off of work all weekend for something I don't really want to do." This could end up being the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm leaning that way as cars are a big part of my life and she has absolutely no interest in them. Ah, but I'm getting off topic; this belongs in a thread of its own entitled "Cute without the e?"
