Hey guys, I'm considering expanding the All Mitsu Cookout to a full weekend. I'd have a dyno day/swap meet on Saturday, plus a cruise. Then on Sunday, I'd have the actual Cookout. I'm hoping to have it the weekend of August 23/24. If I do this, there is a new hotel thats almost walking distance to both spots and I'd try to get a good discount there. So the big question is, if I made it a full weekend, would anyone from W3SI show up? In years past, Jesse and Aaron have made it, but I think thats it. Pictures from last year's Cookout: http://mn3s.org/cookout2007/index.htmSee the poll. later, Curt

So the big question is, if I made it a full weekend, would anyone from W3SI have a working car? fixed that question for you.

Looks like 350+ miles..........That should be called the UWG.........The Upper West-Coast Gathering. I'm interested. I know Curt, "Just throw the slug in the trailer, it's just gas." If I see you at the NG you can talk me into it. SS

It's hard to say at this point (I can't plan that far ahead just yet). The only thing I see is they both have registration at the High School on Thursday, so I'm betting it will depend on that dreaded sapper of all time, money and energy -- marching band... I suppose I can't complain too much, they did take state last year. Anyway, it sounds like a good plan to me. I'll float it out there and see if it'll fly. Always looked like a great event to me. What are you thinking for a start time Saturday and an ending time Sunday? And, I can't recall, mainly for the kids, it close to the Mall of America? Oh wait, four would never survive in the car for that long... wonder if I can talk Zack into coming solo? SJ

It'll probably be DP Performance since it's in the same town as the cookout, that plus it's the only AWD dyno that I know of in the area. Don't know how good they are at tuning our cars but you might be able to get Josh (nitryder) to swing by and do a tune, he does a little work here and there now that LSE is closed.

He was the one that tuned my car. It is so rich that Jhammer will no longer follow me at the cruises. I may have to just break down and learn AEM.
