I'll be leaving at about 1am Tuesday morning. Check in is at 1pm so with an 11 hour drive and a 1 hour time difference that should put us there at about 1. I'd much rather drive hours 1-6 in the dark than 6-11. Plus I don't want to pay for another night at the hotel.
I haven't really met many of you yet, so I hope to meet up with you guys down there to learn a lot about our cars and have a great time.

Are we going to try to arrange any type of caravan or is everyone leaving on different days?

SJ Yeah, I'm guessing it will be around $800 in gas, towing my car there and back. But my Spyder will stay nice and clean and free of any new rock chips. Can't wait!! later, Curt

Methinks for $800, can get rock chips repainted 2x over -- I LOVE driving these cars to the gatherings. Speaking of which, today was trash day, so finally able to get rid of that rotting mass of wet crap and lo, a car under a cover. Haven't viewed it until before I was sick and it was prepped for UMG... Making me sick I am not going. I hooked up the battery tender... SJ

Well, even if I drove my car, it would still cost $300 in gas and an extra 1700 miles on the odometer. Plus I don't have to worry about break downs or my top having issues. Its a great piece of mind. later, Curt

Its a great piece of mind. later, Curt I bought my car to drive it, as much as I'd like to tow to some events myself bro. Towing it does have many pro's for sure. Odometer? Remind me to smack you! I have over 165,000 on mine now. How many cars you have now anyway? Oh yeah, the top -- okay, you got me there for sure Elvis, totally forgot about the possibility of an issue with that. And God knows we'd never want that to happen with such a beautiful Spyder like yours. Good point, and love your trailer and truck combo as well (read: jealous ). Drive safe, and let me know what it's like to be a place where summer exists and they NEED water... Best, SJ
