Road America was great. Fantastic facility, great weather and well run event other than the loss of a couple of ZO6's from IL.
Special thanks to SJ and Jesse for the wild rides around the track.
SJ - I owe you for all the time you put up with me playing co-pilot.
Congrats Jesse on the unofficial 2:38.
Scott
and black GT3
but yes, I agree it was pretty cool. I hope to get on track next year.
ps. that "333" NSX was fast.
Pleasure was all mine Scott. You're a good co-pilot, and thanks for looking after my son and his quest for photos. I really appreciate that.
That 333 NSX was indeed wicked fast. He would come out of nowhere.
And yeah, like wow, congrats to Jesse!
I'm happy with my new personal best of 2:48... and no brakes left.
I did really enjoy getting by the Ferrari 430 and that tricked out 911 as well during my best session before lunch.
Also thanks to Mike with the help on rear tire pressure tweaking the rear end, as the new set up seemed to be better.
Big thanks to Ver Fer as well riding along and datatlogging for me.
It was great seeing everyone and the super turnout. I have many fond memories at Road America and it is a magical place, and the time there just goes by too damn fast. Before I know it, I'm heading home, and back to reality...
FWIW, I still have work yet to be done before I can put the car away, and I have been putting off way too much here at home to work on the car. I also have some tough decisions to make and deal with, so therefore, I'll be heading into hibernation early this year so I can
try and get caught up and get things figured out. So if you need me, it will be best to drop me an email.
I'll get pictures to Matty to post when I can.
Here's to next season.
Best,
SJ
