There are plenty of people who can show him how to use his boost controller...
Just come to the next gathering, they'll help you out. Or, take a trip to Milwaukee.
Congrats on the purchase.

SJ wrote: Mad Scientist? This good enough reason to come back now? SJ You realize it's entirely possible he won't be able to pay rent, purchase food, car payment, etc. by working for beer and food. He'd actually have to CHARGE YOU if he opened a shop. Unless of course he somehow becomes independently wealthy. Helping friends is one thing, doing it all day every day would probably require income of some sort Not to sound harsh, as that's not the intent - but let's be realistic. Greg has a tremendous amount of 3S knowledge - maybe even more now than when he was here before - but knowledge alone will not pay bills and support the costs of a shop. That's not to say he wouldn't help people, but at the end of the day he needs money just like everyone else.

LOL
I'll tell you what I told Eric, SJ.
Find me a job that pays more than $13/hr and I'll pack my chit in a truck.

That's it? You should be able to find that if you're serious. Sorry if I was "speaking" for you - but we both know your services are worth $$$$

I have no interest in working on 3/Ss full time. Weekend/evening job? No problem.
Yes I am serious.

Honestly, I'm looking for a job with some routine in it. I'm qualified for assembly work, office assistance, data entry, shipping/receiving and warehouse type stuff.
Madison area would be preferred.
I regularly check out places like Monster.com and jobsinmadison.com.

charter communications in madison is always hiring. no experience required. starts at 12.50/hr. cant go wrong with it if you can deal with ppl bitching about their cable. fill out an app online if you want a job.

Appreciate the suggestion but, there's 3 things I refuse to do for a living:
#1 work with cash (note: cash has a different demeaner than money) #2 talk on the phone (in terms of customer service) #3 work with animals/kids
I tried telephone relay for CapTel for about 2 weeks. Didn't have the patience for it.
