So just in case Michiana loses this year I need a backup plan. What does it take to get "initiated" into W3SI. Im already initiated into Chicago and it wasnt pretty I just wanna be able to change my chapter at the last minute to the winning team and be able to party with the winners

Yall might have to strip me from making it.
I still plan on going to events and fixing my car, however with my new job I'm only allowed a weeks vacation, and we're thinking of a Las Vegas trip in September.

Anyone know how much a trailer rental is at like U-Haul? AND, is hard to get a lowered car on and off?
Do tell.

SJ Full bed trailer isn't going to come cheap. If I had to guess, I'd say in the $100-200 for the weekend range. (completely arbitrary numbers) Loading a lowered vehicle can be challenging, but can be done if one knows what one is doing. (I guess this leaves you out SJ) http://www.uhaul.com/towing/special_loading.aspx

Remind me to smack you next time I see you -- that's, if I ever see you again, you twit. And you're right on. They want $50 for a 24-hr period. I have a couple 2x10's in the shed, was going to grab them and few other pieces and take it over with the car and try it. Thanks for the link. However, my Dad's Doctor has basically shut him down, so I'm not sure he'll even come back right now. So as with many things, it may not matter. I'll keep you posted -- ninja boy. Best, SJ

SJ wrote: Sounds like sign ups are off, Thats an understatement. Only 78 signed up. I can't believe its this low. I think they made some big improvements this year. I've got a big upgrade at work that weekend that I can not get out of, so I won't be going this year. Maybe next year. later, Curt

hmmm....26 days. Snapped stud off (flush) on new turbo. 2 02 sensors will not come out of dp (rounded heads off). Can't get rear motor mount in to save my life. I am making almost no progress and wasting hours in the garage. Looks like I have to order more parts on monday...who knows when they'll get here!

most likely 02 sensors and studs, yes. I think I have a method of trying to get the rear motor mount in. I will try that monday; if I can get that in and the stud issue on the rear turbo resolved....maybe, just maybe I could have the rear one in monday. After that I have my motorcycle class on top of work for the week, so little will get done.

not loosen, but jack yeah. dont know how well it will work.
motorcycle class = get my license finally. most of the day 4 days this week. working the other days.
I will get the studs/nuts I need from the hardware store. 02 sensors will have to be ordered if I end up needing them.
